Apply for free library card at Delano Public Library
September is Library Card Sign-up Month, and the Delano Public Library wants to make sure that all children in the community have the smartest card of all - a library card.
The last time the NFL expanded the season was 1978, when the schedule increased to 16 games from 14. That also was the year each conference added a wild-card playoff team and when regular-season records dictated matchups the following season. The NFL had switched from a 12- to a 14-game schedule in 1961.
In recognition of National Library Card Sign-up month in September, Lake Cities Library, Little Elm Public Library, and The Colony Public Library, are having a friendly tri-city competition to see who can sign up the most new library patrons.
